Refund and Returns Policy

This Refund and Returns Policy explains how refunds, cancellations and returns are handled for products and services purchased from Nefe Oguntoye, trading as Nefe Confidence Coaching.

This policy applies to purchases made through:

By purchasing a coaching service, workshop, digital download, resource or other product from this website, you agree to this Refund and Returns Policy.


1. Who I am

Throughout this policy, “I”, “me”, “my” and “Nefe Confidence Coaching” refer to Nefe Oguntoye. “You” refers to the customer, client or website user.


2. General refund position

All purchases should be made carefully and intentionally.

Due to the nature of coaching, personal development services, workshops and digital products, refunds are limited.

In summary:

  • No refunds are given for coaching sessions that have already taken place.
  • No refunds are given for digital downloads once they have been accessed, downloaded or delivered.
  • No refunds are given for missed coaching sessions, workshops or appointments where you do not attend without giving the required notice.
  • Refunds are not provided simply because you change your mind after the service has been delivered or the digital product has been accessed.

This does not affect your statutory rights.


3. Coaching sessions and coaching packages

3.1 Coaching sessions already delivered

Once a coaching session has taken place, it is non-refundable.

This applies to:

  • discovery sessions, where paid
  • one-off coaching sessions
  • 1:1 coaching sessions
  • coaching packages
  • group coaching sessions
  • accountability sessions
  • confidence coaching sessions
  • any other coaching or personal development session

This is because coaching is a personalised service and the time, preparation and support have already been provided.


3.2 Coaching packages

If you purchase a coaching package, the package terms will usually be confirmed at the time of booking or in a separate coaching agreement.

Once coaching has started, refunds are not usually available for sessions already delivered.

If you wish to cancel a remaining package before all sessions have been delivered, any refund or credit will be considered at my discretion and may take into account:

  • sessions already delivered
  • preparation work already completed
  • admin time
  • payment processing fees
  • any resources or materials already provided
  • the cancellation terms agreed at the time of booking

Where required by law, your statutory cancellation rights will still apply.


3.3 Missed coaching sessions

If you miss a coaching session or fail to attend without giving the required notice, the session may be treated as used and no refund will be provided.

Where possible, I will try to be reasonable and flexible, but repeated cancellations, late cancellations or missed sessions may result in the session being forfeited.


3.4 Rescheduling coaching sessions

If you need to reschedule a coaching session, please contact me as soon as possible.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, I ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule a session.

If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the session may be treated as used and may not be refunded or rescheduled.


4. Workshops, webinars and live events

Refunds for workshops, webinars and live events depend on the specific event and the notice given.

Unless stated otherwise at the time of booking:

  • tickets are non-refundable within 7 days of the event
  • no refund will be given if you do not attend
  • if a replay, workbook, recording or downloadable material is provided, this may affect refund eligibility
  • tickets may be transferred to another person at my discretion if you contact me before the event

If I cancel a paid workshop, webinar or live event, you will usually be offered either:

  • a refund, or
  • the option to transfer your booking to a future date

5. Digital downloads and digital products

Digital products may include:

  • worksheets
  • journals
  • workbooks
  • planners
  • checklists
  • ebooks
  • guides
  • templates
  • audio resources
  • video resources
  • online course materials
  • downloadable coaching tools
  • any other digital content

5.1 No refunds after access or download

Due to the instant-access nature of digital products, no refunds are provided once a digital product has been accessed, downloaded, opened, delivered or made available to you.

When purchasing a digital product, you may be asked to confirm that:

  • you want immediate access to the digital content, and
  • you understand that by accessing the content immediately, you may lose your 14-day cancellation right.

UK guidance explains that different rules apply to downloads and digital content, and consumers may need to agree to waive cancellation rights where they access digital content within the 14-day cooling-off period.


5.2 Problems accessing a digital product

If you have paid for a digital product and have not received access, or the download link does not work, please contact me at:

I will try to resolve the issue by:

  • re-sending the download link
  • providing alternative access
  • correcting the file, where possible
  • offering another suitable solution

5.3 Faulty or incorrect digital products

If a digital product is faulty, not as described, or you receive the wrong product, please contact me as soon as possible.

Where appropriate, I may offer:

  • a corrected file
  • replacement access
  • technical support
  • a suitable alternative
  • a refund, where legally required

Your statutory rights are not affected.


6. Online courses and self-paced programmes

If I offer online courses, self-paced programmes or memberships, the refund terms will be stated on the relevant sales page or checkout page.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • no refund will be given once course content has been accessed
  • no refund will be given for downloadable course materials once provided
  • no refund will be given for failing to complete a course
  • no refund will be given because you changed your mind after accessing the content

If a course or programme includes live coaching sessions, the coaching cancellation terms in this policy may also apply.


7. Physical products

If physical products are sold in the future, the returns rules for those products will be stated on the relevant product page.

At present, this policy is primarily intended for coaching services, workshops and digital products.

If physical goods are sold, your statutory rights under UK consumer law will apply, including rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods.


8. Change of mind

Please make sure you read the product or service description carefully before purchasing.

Refunds are not provided simply because:

  • you changed your mind after purchase
  • you no longer want the product or service
  • you did not use the product
  • you did not complete a worksheet, course or programme
  • you missed a session, workshop or event
  • you decided the product or service was not suitable after accessing it
  • you expected a different personal outcome

This does not affect any statutory cancellation rights that may apply before a service begins or before digital content is accessed.


9. UK cooling-off rights

If you are a consumer buying online, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period for some purchases. For most services bought online, the cooling-off period usually starts from the day after the order is placed. If a service starts during the cooling-off period, you may be charged for the part of the service already provided.

For digital content, your cancellation rights may end once you have agreed to immediate access and acknowledged that you lose your right to cancel once the digital content is supplied.

Nothing in this policy removes any legal rights you may have under UK consumer law.


10. Payment plans

If you purchase a coaching package, course, workshop or programme using a payment plan, you are responsible for completing all agreed payments unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Stopping payments does not automatically cancel your agreement.

Depending on the product or service purchased, you may still be responsible for outstanding payments for services already delivered, digital content already accessed, or package commitments already agreed.


11. Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you have an issue with a payment, product or service, please contact me first at:

I will do my best to resolve the matter fairly.

Submitting a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting me first may delay resolution. If a chargeback is made for a valid purchase or a service that has already been delivered, I reserve the right to provide evidence of the purchase, delivery, access or attendance to the payment provider.


12. How to request a cancellation or refund

Please include:

  • your full name
  • email address used for purchase
  • order number, if available
  • date of purchase
  • product or service purchased
  • reason for your request

I aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If a refund is approved, it will usually be returned to the original payment method. Refund timings may depend on the payment provider.


13. Exceptions

I may consider a refund, credit or transfer in exceptional circumstances at my discretion. This may include serious illness, bereavement or other significant unexpected circumstances.

Any discretionary refund, credit or transfer does not create an obligation to offer the same outcome in future cases.


14. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this Refund and Returns Policy affects your statutory rights.

You may still have legal rights if a product or service is faulty, not as described, not supplied with reasonable care and skill, or otherwise does not meet legal requirements.


15. Changes to this policy

I may update this Refund and Returns Policy from time to time to reflect changes in my business, services, products or legal requirements.

The latest version will be available on this website. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
